SPECIAL: This particular body style in Tacoma will always be special to us. when our business was founded back in 2005, this Tacoma was hot off the press with its basic halogen reflector headlights--making it prime for a projector retrofit. We've always loved our friends at TacomaWorld, and the guys there have always shown us so much love too over the years. now we're returning the favor once again with the intro of the Morimoto Hybrid LED headlights for the facelifted 12-15 model year Toyota Tacoma.
BANG FOR THE BUCK: The XB Hybrids share many of the same core components developed for the top-of-the-line series from Morimoto, without some of the features that make them considerably more expensive. That said... these new Tacoma headlights Hybrid are hardly a compromise. True reflector optics for the DRL. Killer light output. Good Looks... all wrapped up inside of an OEM-grade housing and backed with a solid five-year warranty.
AMBER AND WHITE DRL: It's worth noting that these are among the first headlights in the entire Morimoto lineup to be released with two options for the daytime running light. For those of you who want something more traditional and modern, go for the white DRL. For the Toyota truck guys out there who are obsessed with amber LED everything, yea you know who you are--these are also offered with a full amber DRL and not only does it look amazing, but it's every bit as bright.
NO COMPETITION: Now let's take a minute to compare the Tacoma LED headlights from Morimoto with some of the other options out there. You've got the cheap eBay specials that look cheesy, are poorly built, and don't perform well. You've got projector retrofits for OEM headlights which pack a lot of bang for the buck but take time to build, and then you've got the XB Hybrids. For us, there are very few alternatives at this price point that can compare to the Morimoto's for your 12-15 Tacoma.
HIGH PERFORMANCE: When it comes to light output, these Tacoma headlights won't disappoint at all. we know Tacoma guys aren't all about the bling, light output is important too--and there is no lack of luminosity here. the Hybrids have a powerful, wide, and bright led low beam projector, and a dedicated led high beam projector too. their optics were specially developed just last year specifically for using the hybrid lineup to produce an amazing beam pattern despite the affordable price point. unlike other "headlight upgrades" that look decent, these look great, and will most definitely make driving in the dark a pleasure. Bring on the night!
DOT APPROVED: for the ladies and gents that care about street legality, their dual-led projector optics meet & exceed all SAE, DOT, and FVMSS108 regulations. they come out of the box aimed at factory specs and are also fully adjustable for those of you with lifted Tacos.
PLUG AND PLAY: When it comes to wiring, it doesn't get much easier than this. The Hybrid headlights are designed to work on your Tacoma without any mods. They will plug into the factory H4 three-pin connector for the stock headlights and will work seamlessly without any issues at all. Since they re-use the stock halogen turn signal bulb, you don't have to worry about adding resistors or any of that nonsense to avoid hyper flashing either. You will however have to add one cable, which comes included, to power the DRL--but that's plug n play with one of the slots in your fuse box. No big deal.
ONE LAST QUESTION: So now that you've seen all of that... the only thing left to decide is, do you go with the white DRL, or Amber? For that is the question!

Morimoto Warranty and Return Policy
Warranty:
Please refer to the products listing page for specific warranty information, as it varies depending on the brand, configuration, etc. All warranties are non-transferable and are only applicable to the original purchaser. We cannot handle warranty claims for parts purchased elsewhere, even if we are a distributor for that same product. If it was purchased through a dealer, that dealer must handle your claim directly.
Returns/Exchanges:
From the date of original purchase, you will have 45 days to apply for a return for a refund. You have 60 days to apply for an exchange for another product.
Refunds will be issued back to the original payment source. If you paid with a gift card or store credit, your refund will be issued in the form of store credit. Whether or not you originally paid for shipping, all shipping costs are non-refundable, and will be deducted from the refund amount. Please note that it may take 2-5 business days for credit to appear in your account.
The following fees will apply:
Tier 1: Perfect condition. (Unopened & like-new) = 90% refund or 100% store credit.
Tier 2: Needs Refurbishment. (Product like-new, needs new packaging) = 80% refund or 90% store credit.
Tier 3: Not Salvageable. (Product & packaging both damaged) = 70% refund or 80% store credit.
Parts may be exchanged if they are in like-new condition with their original unopened packaging for credit towards anything else in-stock. If your returned part(s) cannot be restocked as "new" we reserve the right to deny the exchange or apply only a partial credit towards your new items. If you need to make a rushed exchange, you can order the new part first and then return the original for a refund without being subject to any restocking fees on the "exchanged" item.
Exclusions – The Following Products Cannot Be Returned or Exchanged
- Products that have been physically or aesthetically damaged or modified during installation
- Custom parts such as etched lenses, assembled Super7s, or tuned projectors
- Philips or Osram HID or LED bulbs with broken security seals
- Products purchased from the Closeout's category
- Special orders, i.e. any item that is not normally found in our online catalog
If the manufacturer has discontinued an item, the current equivalent of the same product will be offered as a replacement, and if logical to do so, we will offer 50% off a second unit to match. If no modern equivalent exists, we will issue you store credit equal to what you originally paid.
